This differs from person to person and depends upon the issue you want to work with. We will discuss this as part of our work together from the very start.

I offer both short term and long term counselling.

I am in a quiet area in the outskirts of St Albans, close to Hatfield and London Colney., the A1 and the M25.

There is plenty of parking around the area and on my drive, especially during the day.

There are several main bus routes close by and I am about a 15 minute drive from the station.

I take your confidentiality very seriously and we will discuss this in your first session.

There are a few things you can do to ensure you get as much benefit from your counselling as possible:

✔ Be open to new perspectives and insights

✔  Be as honest as you can – we can only work with what you present. My role as your helper is not to judge you. but to help you question and look at things that may not be working as well as you would like them to.

✔ Be committed to your counselling. this is not something that is ‘done’ to you – you have to do the work, but not alone.

✔ If there is anything that you don’t understand or are uncomfortable about – please tell me so we can discuss it.

This is a question that sometimes can feel difficult to ask . I want you to feel comfortable when you are here so,  yes I have a toilet for your use whenever you need it.

These are just a few of the questions that I am often asked. If you don’t see your question here – press the button and send me your question.
